Pontoon 22 and Cabin 23 provide different simulation footprints and authored response parameters. They are not exact digital twins, and Cabin 23 does not include a simulated bow thruster.
Start with what actually changes
The fleet changes the simulated length, beam, operating mass, hull outline and estimated hydrodynamic response. Pontoon 22 uses a rectangular-style footprint, while Cabin 23 has the longest envelope in the current fleet. A model name is not a promise that every system on a reference boat has been reproduced.
Repeat the same lesson
Use the same alongside lesson and calm environment for your first comparison. Inspect the ends and corners of the hull in replay. Only after you have a baseline should you add a wind or current exercise. Otherwise, it becomes difficult to explain why two paths differ.
Do not infer equipment from appearance
The current fleet uses the app’s single-outboard controls. Cabin 23 does not simulate a bow thruster. There is no twin-engine differential control, line handling or real marina traffic. These omissions are important when deciding what a practice attempt can teach you.
Share the context with the clip
A useful comparison names the vessel configuration, lesson, environment and source model version. The publishing service attaches these fields automatically from the sanitized record. Keep the explanation about that particular simulation rather than claiming a universally correct pontoon or cabin-boat maneuver.
