First establish a calm-water baseline. Only then compare a wind or current lesson; changing vessel, environment and approach together makes it harder to identify the cause of a different result.
What the model includes
The model uses a 7.54 m length, 2.59 m beam and estimated operating mass of 2,350 kg. It represents a single-outboard configuration. Twin-engine handling, trim optimization and offshore navigation are not included.
A focused comparison
Run a calm alongside exercise, then the current exercises. In the replay, distinguish heading from the direction the boat moves across the scene. Do not infer real current limits from a simulator score.
